Friday Triples League
At the P&D AGM I proposed a Triples League on Friday nights due to the lack of evening games.Several clubs have contacted me expressing an interest.
It is proposed to have 3 triples with clubs playing home & away.I think 6 teams in a league would be manageable.The number of leagues will depend on interest.I propose that teams arrange their own games depending on their commitments and the home team provide me with the result.
If clubs could raise the matter at their spring meeting's and if interested let me know by phone or e-mail and at the P&D spring meeting we can finalise details.
If we have more than 1 league it is proposed to have a playoff at the end for the Martin Cox trophy.
If you have any thoughts please contact me to discuss them as this is very much an experiment but I hope it will catch on and we can develop it for the following season.
